Good to all of you today I am doing some tests with a great recovery tool for Exchange Server, Systools Exchange Recovery
You can see more information on the product page https://www.systoolsgroup.com/exchange-recovery.html in many cases we find exchange databases with problems and it is necessary to recover some mailbox and convert it into PST data file for Outlook I'm going to show you step by step what to do to recover a mailbox in Exchange Server 2010.
We enter the Exchange Console and dismount our Exchange Database
He asks us if we want to continue with the operation and we say yes (Important, during this process no user of the database will have access to Exchange)
In my example I am working directly with the Exchange database, I could have the EDB file of a backup and perform the same operation, with the database removed we will be able to work with the EDB file directly, we validate that the database is dimounted before continuing
Now if we can open Systools Exchange Recovery
Select Add File, Select ... in EDB File:
Select Add
We hope you can see the file (this operation may take a few minutes depending on the size of our database)
At the end we see the following message, we select OK
We can see the complete content of our database (EDB), in my case I will use my mailbox Guillermo Sanchez to perform the test
On the Mailbox -> Export
We select the option that we need in my case I am going to export to a PST file and then I can open it from Microsoft Outlook and press Browse
In Browse we select the folder where we want to save our PST file and select Export
From this moment we start with the operation we see the progress and we wait for the end
After the process we see the status and validate that our PST file is available in the folder we selected
When selecting OK, we will see the status of the process in my case 1503 elements were exported and no error select Cancel to finish if we select Save a CSV file is generated with the details of the task
We see that the PST file is created correctly, we can only copy it where we need it and use it
Before finishing with the article I am going to show you a very good option in case you are in a migration scenario to Office 365, in the option of export you can select Office365 and Next (for the demonstration I only export my user's contacts )
We validate our user's data in Office365 as it is shown in the image and we select Export
We hope the process ends
Select OK
We see the report of the task in my case I select Cancel
We have already uploaded the data to Office365 from this tool, it is important to bear in mind that in order to do so, the user must be configured in Office365.

Buenas a todos hoy me encuentro realizando unas pruebas con una gran herramienta de recuperacion para Exchange Server, Systools Exchange Recovery
Pueden ver mas información en la pagina del producto https://www.systoolsgroup.com/exchange-recovery.html en muchos casos nos encontramos con bases de datos de exchange con problemas y es necesario recuperar algun buzon y convertirlo en archivo de datos PST para Outlook les voy a mostrar un paso a paso de que se debe hacer para poder recuperar un buzon en Exchange Server 2010.
Entramos a la consola de Exchange y desmontamos nuestra base de datos
Nos pregunta si queremos seguir con la operacion y le decimos que si (Importante, durante este proceso ningun usuario de la base de datos tendra acceso a Exchange)
En mi ejemplo estoy trabajando directamente con la base de Exchange, podria tener el archivo EDB de un backup y realizar la misma operacion, con la base de datos desmontada vamos a poder trabajar con el archivo EDB directamente, validamos que la base de datos este desmontada antes de continuar
Ahora si podemos abrir Systools Exchange Recovery
Seleccionarmos Add File, seleccionamos ... en EDB File:

Esperamos que se pueda ver el archivo (esta operacion puede demorar unos minutos en funcion al tamaño de nuestra base de datos)
Al finalizar vemos el siguiente mensaje, seleccionamos OK
Podemos ver el contenido completo de nuestra base de datos (EDB), en mi caso voy a utilizar mi buzon Guillermo Sanchez para realizar la prueba
Sobre el Buzon -> Export
Seleccionamos la opcion que necesitamos en mi caso voy a exportar a un archivo PST para despues poder abrirlo desde Microsoft Outlook y presionamos Browse
En Browse seleccionamos la carpeta donde queremos guardar nuestro archivo PST y seleccioamos Export
Desde este momento se comienza con la operacion vemos el avance y esperamos a que finalice
Finalizado el proceso vemos el estado y validamos que nuestro archivo PST este disponiblen en la carpeta que seleccionamos
Al seleccionar OK, veremos el estado del proceso en mi caso se exportaron 1503 elementos y no fallo ninguno seleccione Cancel para terminar si seleccionamos Save se genera un archivo CSV con los detalles de la tarea
Vemos que el archivo PST esta creado en forma correcta solo nos queda copiarlo donde necesitamos y utilizarlo
Antes de terminar con el articulo les voy a mostrar una muy buena opcion en caso de que esten en un escenario de migracion a Office 365, en la opcion de exportar se puede seleecionar Office365 y Next (para la demostracion solo exporto los contactos de mi usuario)
Validamos los datos de nuestro usuario en Office365 como es muestar en la imagen y seleccionamos Export
Esperamos que el proceso finalice
Seleccionamos OK
Vemos el reporte de la tarea en mi caso selecciono Cancel
Ya hemos subido los datos a Office365 desde esta herramiensta, es imporante tener en cuenta que para poder hacerlo se debe tener configurado el usuario en Office365.

En el Videos podran ver como instalar la solución de correo de microsoft (Exchange 2010)
Se utiliza un entorno virtual con dos equipos con Windows 2008 R2, el primero tiene instalado el rol ADDS
El dominio en funcionalidad 2008 R2. El segudo equipo esta unido al dominio esperando la instalación de Exchange
